Mágica means magic in Spanish and refers to the touch of this highly responsive instrument. This guitar comes only in cedar as that is what works best with this type of construction. It has the rich and powerful sound cedar players come to love.
Lattice Bracing
The Lattice Bracing was invented by Greg Smallman in Australia in the beginning of the 1980s. This revolutionising method created a much louder guitar than had ever been created before. Having a more structurally solid bracing strengthening the top makes it possible to use a thinner top as well as the lattice seems to give way for the energy to project faster. Our Lattice bracing however is quite different from Smallman’s robust Lattice. Our’s is much lighter and dome like, being very thin on the sides and thicker towards the centre. This type of Lattice bracing works splendidly with a cedar top. In addition we came to discover that because the guitar becomes so responsive giving big sound with very little effort makes this a perfect match for a virtuosic player.
