Leyenda or Legend is a tribute to the traditional guitar sound using a variant of the fan bracing with an added treble bar for incresed projection. In addition these guitars have a very low body tuning which is usually associated with the finest fan braced guitars. As much as more recent developments in guitar making is intriguing there are of course many qualities that are nothing but splendid with a traditional bracing. Using the True Temperament solution together with a traditional construction brings the latest development in guitar together with the most replicated and trusted guitar construction in history up until today.

Fan Bracing:

The fan bracing was perhaps the the most significant change in guitar making history. It was invented by A. Torres in at the end of the 19th century at about the same time J. S. Martin invented the X bracing in America which made way for the steal string guitars. Both the fan bracing and X bracing where made with the intention of creating greater projection. Earlier guitars did not really have bracing but only vertical stabilising bars. With the fan bracing more overtones come out in the sound and there is more sophistication, complexity and ability to manipulate the tone colour. The fan bracing later became very well known because of H. Hauser and the fan bracing to many is “the holy grail” of guitar constructions.
