This is a limited edition made by Mr. Guo exclusively for Sueño Guitars. For 2025, only two instruments were built, making this an exceptionally rare release.
The Zodiac Edition is a celebration of Chinese guitar making. Guo Yulong was the first Chinese luthier to gain international recognition, inspiring an entire new generation of Chinese makers—many of whom were trained directly under his guidance.
The 2025 edition features double-top construction with snakewood rosettes. The back and sides are crafted from koa wood, one of Mr. Guo’s specialties. More than almost any other luthier we know, he has mastered the use of unconventional tonewoods. The result is not only visually striking: the projection, clarity, and articulation of these guitars are truly remarkable.
