On Thursday 1st August Johannes will perform at the Iserlohn International Guitar Symposium, Germany which is one of the largest festivals of it’s kind. The same day, for the late evening concert the Eden-Stell duo will perform Johannes duo composition “When Buds Are Breaking”. The Eden-Stell duo has recently recorded the piece and it will be a part of their next album.
Johannes played a concert in the heart of the Swiss Alps in Bergün, Graubünden on 16 July. The concert was a part of the concert series Abendmusik Bergün/Bravuogn that was first established in 1960. In the past they have featured artists such as: Peter-Lucas Graf, Bruno Canino, Ronad Brautigam, Konrad Ragossnig and many more. Before the concert Johannes and his wife Laura Fraticelli visited the “Tonewood Switzerland” workshop up in the mountains. Johannes carefully selected a master grade piece of spruce that he will keep for a future guitar.
After a successful recording with producer Norbert Kraft for Naxos records Laura Fraticelli and Johannes is getting ready for their performance at Hamilton International Classical Guitar Festival, Canada Saturday 13 July. Program will include the music of J. K. Mertz and Johannes Möller.
